Sixteen candles on October's twenty first day
I hope your eyes shine like the sun in may
Show your diamond smile, you should be happy dear
Sixteen candles for your sixteenth year
Close your eyes and wish for anything you desire
Then blow out all sixteen tiny fires
I hope everything you wished for comes true
Sixteen unlit candles tally another year for you
